​For over 35 years, Debra has been a Soul Project Midwife, writing and life transitions coach, and workshop/retreat facilitator as the owner and principal consultant of Creativing.  

​

Prior to founding Creativing, Debra had extensive healthcare experience including owning a healthcare management consulting practice. Debra has also been co-owner and CEO of Your Empowerment System, a holistic wellness program; and founder and President of Women in Healthcare Professional Association, an educational and mentoring organization.

 

Debra's healthcare experience includes many years leading and managing clinics and hospitals, both on the West and East Coasts for Kaiser Permanente, as well as holding executive positions with Travelers Health Network and First Health.

 

Debra earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Corporate Healthcare from UC Berkeley.  Debra also graduated from Stanford's International Business Executive Program and is an Alumna of the Leadership Pittsburgh Program.

Debra is committed to serving both her local and global communities. In Spring 2017, she traveled to Eastern China on a five-week teaching and speaking tour, representing the World Academy for the Future of Women (WAFW) and Give Voice to Women through the Arts. In March 2024 Debra spoke at the United Nations at the UN Commission on the Status of Women conference as part of the WAFW delegation.
